Buscando mas info, al parecer solo la versión soportada para Xp es la Express (puedo estar equivocado), tal vez; alguién más podrá indicarlo.

Lo más recomendable es no utilizar fuerza bruta...
Ahora, si haces una breve comparación de velocidad entre GPU y CPU, siempre la GPU será más rapido (debes tener una GPU dedicada a ello), el más comun es OclHashCat; en él puedes levatar los diccionarios creados y darle para que haga el trabajo de fuerza bruta.

Puedes pegar una imagen del router y la configuración. Por ahi, está en el lugar equivocado la regla para abrir el puerto.

Ten en cuenta que una situación es "Abrir" un puerto y otra es redireccionarlo.... Ambas van de la mano.

Si el ISP / Proveedor, ha cambiado las credenciales, tienes pocas opciones:
- Factory Reset
- Fuerza Bruta
- Explotar alguna vulnerabilidad que permita el acceso.

- Una posible opción; que anotes los parametros del proveedor y hagas un hard-reset; con ello podrás hacer del router algo propio.

Brindanos mas informacion, ejemplo: Lenguaje en el cual estás desarrollando, objetivo de licencia (por usuario - por hdd, etc).

Si, en efecto; si desde la maquina virtual "Kali" tienes acceso a internet, puedes hacer muchos testeos; ahora..... auditorías inalambricas en sí, no. Para ello, necesitarás un adaptador inalámbrico y com chipset compatible.

El error es:

Deberías verificar en el servidor:
- La ruta donde están guardados los archivos .crt y .key
Y en el cliente de windows:
- Archivos .crt .key en rutas correctas
- Archivo de configuración .ovpn correcto.

Sería interesante, que brindes más información sobre todo, la configuración que utilizas.

Hay pocas posibilidades:
- Tu router no soporta DHCP-V6.
- El limite del pool DHCP esta sin direcciones libres.
- Que la placa de red (Alambrica o inalámbrica - ya que no lo especificas - ) esté fallando.

Primero, sin iniciar en modo live; tienes conexion a internet por ethernet ?

Podrías utilizar una configuración estática en el Live, asi descartarás que sea otro inconveniente.

Si el error es el de la pantalla azul que indicas, es que algún módulo de memoria está fallando.

De tener dos módulos, ve verificando con un módulo a la vez hasta hallar cual está fallando.

La función de un AP es brindar un SSID para que los equipos puedan conectarse.

Ahora, si queres utilziar el AP en modo router, en la configuración del mismo, debes activar un servidor DHCP (no todos los AP cuentan con ésta opción).

La otra opción, es; que el router haga de Dhcp-Server y en la lista de Leases, hagas estáticas las direcciónes IP y desde el AP solo permitas que se conecten esas direcciónes MAC.

No siempre obtendrás una "buena respuesta" acorde a lo que pretendes, está en tus habilidades tambien buscar la solución con los indicios que los demás brindan. Y aportar con una solución que satisfaga tus inquietudes.
