En este post hare la instalacion de un sistema operativo muy nuevo muy diferente a los GNU/LINUX, pero diran uds porque crees es nuevo , les dire porque usa su propiar paqueteria y sus repos. XBPS-BINARY.

XBPS-BINARY ?
El X Binary Package System (o xbps) es el sistema de paquete binario utilizado por Void Linux. xbps se diseñó e implementó desde cero. Su objetivo es ser rápido, fácil de usar, libre de errores, funcional y portátil tanto como sea posible.

Que es Void Linux?
Void es un sistema operativo de uso general parecido a Unix, basado en el monolítico .

Void Linux fue creado en 2008 por el ex mantenedor de NetBSD Juan Romero Pardines, y continúa siendo desarrollado completamente por voluntarios. Es una distribución independiente (no una bifurcación): su gestor de paquetes y su sistema de compilación se escribieron desde cero.

Genial Ya sabiendo que es void linux y que paqueteria usa, creo que podemos comenzar, antes de todo VOID no usa SystemD,Ni openrc,tampoco sysV, Usa Unicamente Runit.

Que es Runit?
runit es el sistema de inicio predeterminado utilizado por Void Linux. runit es un conjunto de herramientas que incluye un init PID 1 así como un marco de supervisión de procesos compatible con daemontools, junto con utilidades que agilizan la creación y el mantenimiento de los servicios.

runit emplea un concepto de un directorio de servicios, responsable de un servicio individual, que es un proceso para monitorear, y un servicio de registro opcional.

Nota: Enlazo el Link de Descarga , Void Linux Algunasm ISO ya Viene definidas, con Desktop Enviroment como KDE,XFCE,LXQT.
Nota: Si descargas una ISO con desktop enviroment integrado en la instalacion debes elegir instalar desde local no desde Network

Yo descargue la version sin desktop enviroment no afectara mucho la instalacion. solo tomar nota .
Usare una maquina virtual , Usare VMWARE .

Damos enter aparecera en modo ncurses la instalcion , nota no hay grafical instalacion.

Damos Enter luego nos manda a network nosotros usaremos DHCP, es decir la red nos dara la ip.

Selecionamos el disco nuevamente para crear el formato en  mi caso usare Ext4 , con bootloader si no le damos bootloader, tendremos problemasen GRUB.

Eh creado la particion, como lo hago cuando selecione dos, me sale la tabla en la parte inferior izquierda dice new damos enter, luego dira ,primary.
NOTA: Debemos selecionar la particion y la opciones de abajo selecionar BOOTLOADER.

Ya terminando la particion le damos WRITE, luego nos saldra si queres darle YES OR NO ,Obviamente que YES y lo tecleamos.

Luego le damos QUIT, y se saldras DOS, terminaremos el particionar ,nos estamos acercando al final.!1

Luego de dar ENTER Nos Aparece que le demos reboot y listo ya tenemos listo a VOID Linux.

No tenemos instalado xorg, en mi caso no tengo instalado nignun desktop enviroment y instalare XFCE

Como no tenemos Display Layer Usaremos el Siguiente:

# xbps-install -S lightdm lightdm-gtk3-greeter
# ln -s /etc/sv/dbus /var/service/dbus
# ln -s /etc/sv/lightdm /var/service/lightdm

Ya teniendo instalado el XFCE4,XORG,LIGHTDM, Escribimos en minuscula startxfce4 y iniciara escritorio xfce.

Quieres cambiar la resolucion de pantalla?
Xrandr es la repuesta como lo haremos, abrimos una terminal ejecutamos xrandr ya sea con root o sudo.
Si no lo tiene instalado escribe este comando.

xbps-install -S xrandr

Ya instalado XRANDR, lo ejecutamos y vemos las resoluciones que tenemo mi outpu es Virtual1 , asi se llama el monitor puede variar los nombres , es decir escribo este comando.

xrandr --output Virtual1 --mode 1280x1024

y tendremos la resolucion de nuestro monitor.
