cheroke es un web server como apache, es bastante útil cuando por algun motivo no puedes usar apache, como por ejemplo en las netbooks del gobierno argentino.

Cherokee es un web server liviano y bastante robusto, sin embargo (en mi opinión) no lo reemplazaría por Apache a menos que me vea forzado a hacerlo, en ese sentido, hay algo que me ha causado curiosidad, en los netbooks del gob. Argentino no se puede instalar Apache pero si Cherokee? cual es el motivo de eso?
es realmente raro, pero el sistema operativo windows xp, de las exomate x352 (justo la mia) al instalar apache no se ejecuta, es como si el puerto 80 estubiera bloqueado, pero no es así, simplemente no funciona, luego si le instalas otro windows, funciona bien apache.
cherokee fue la solución a mi problema hasta que aprendí a desbloquear netbooks xD
